When we think of Tim Tebow, We think college football great, NFL quarterback, but what you don’t know is that off the field he’s very active in his, The Tim Tebow Foundation. Which this year the foundation has confirmed more than 200 proms in 48 states and 8 different countries. A huge step from last years 44 simultaneous proms simply called “Night to Shine”. The worldwide effort will allow special needs ages 16 and up, to be dressed in tuxes and gowns, walk a red carpet that includes photographers, dance and get a chance to be crowned king or queen.
Even some attendees may get a chance to meet Tebow himself. Last year he was present at two of the proms, one in North Carolina and the other in South Carolina, where he escorted a woman into the dance.
To make it all transpire, the Tim Tebow Foundation provides each prom with financial support, decorations and gifts for each participants, and step-by-step guidance to make the prom a success. The Foundation is passionate about people with special needs, and this event is a great time to tell them how much they are loved by God and by all of us.
